This week saw the international community pay homage to Charles Dickens, one of the greatest literary figures in the world, on the 200th anniversary of his birth. The celebrations filled us with lofty thoughts of how anyone could be so appreciated after such a vast expanse of time. The answer is, in part, a story. Everyone needs a story; literary or tactile, visual or audible, fact or fiction. We're living our own everyday. Charles Dickens both lived and wrote great stories, which persist 142 years after his death.
You, the creative community, are writing the saga of BOBCOM. Our ethos - independence and empowerment - are the perfect basis for an enduring work. This week sees the sincere new inclusion 'She Ponders' from singer-songwriter Mike Chancellor, and ethereal alt-rockers Laws of Motion proving their relevance with trending track 'Sweetheart'.
